a really good weekend

celebrated meihui's birthday today. long overdue celebration. botak jones followed by island creamery followed by kite flying!

we decided to take a photo of mcdonald and tag it as lanfang in fb. :D

our kite really did fly! it was surprisingly easy to get it to fly. and it was surprisingly VERY fun!

sat morning i prepared breakfast for dabestclique!!! haha. according to shehui, i didn't do much cooking. which is true. that mornig's menu:

bacon
scrambled egges
sausages
cereal
toast (not v successful cos of the faulty toaster)
pancakes (we ate serving for 16. either these pple are pancake monsters or there's sth wrong w their serving info)
orange juice

once again, i'm amazed by the clique's ability to down food. haha.

i think next time round i'll do some actual cooking. hmm. NEXT TIME.

now, counting down to mission trip. i'm really quite excited. i don't exactly know what to expect, like how i didn't know what to expect for the pattaya trip last yr. gen12 was such a meaningful time. as i was organising the photos in my com, i looked back at those taken during gen12, and it just hit me again how much i learnt in those short 7 days. i could go on and on about the experience... and i hope this mission trip will be as close an encounter to God as the last one was.
